The United Nations Climate Change Conference COP28 is once again dedicated to the global fight against climate change. The conference will focus on mitigation and adaptation measures to address global challenges and promote sustainable solutions. A key objective of COP28 is to encourage countries and cities worldwide to develop new pathways toward a sustainable future, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In particular, the resilience of urban areas plays a crucial role.

Dunja Kovari, alongside Naomi Hoogervorst from UN-Habitat and Read Gasimov from Baku, participated in the official post-crisis panel titled «Urban Revival: Green Recovery After Crisis». She emphasized the importance of coordinated action at all levels, from authorities to local partners.
