Against the background of profound societal change, which has long since become noticeable not only in the structural change of the retail trade, but also in a comprehensive transformation of space and society, new approaches for the attractiveness and revitalization of town centers and city centers are necessary.
On behalf of the canton of Aargau, sa_partners developed the study "Approaches for village centers and inner cities in transition". The focus was on the one hand laid on a differentiated view of the change and the resulting opportunities and challenges, on the other hand on an in-depth examination of the diverse functions of village centers and inner cities. As a product, the study shows fields of action and approaches, which are to be understood as impulses and food for thought for the municipalities and other participants in the development of their village centers and inner cities.
