With the project "Pilot scheme for the valorization of digitalisation for robust basic services in rural areas", sa_partners, together with representatives of the Federal Office for Spatial Development, the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute, the Paul Scherrer Institute, Avenir Suisse, the University of Zurich and other experts, is investigating how the digital transformation can contribute to a new centrality of peripheral peripheral areas. The focus is on questions of how urban innovations can also emerge and be applied in rural regions as progressive provinces. The Bad Zurzach region in the canton of Aargau serves as the spatial laboratory for the model project.
