Irkutsk is located on Lake Bajkal and the Trans-Siberian Railway. The National Research Irkutsk State Technical University is known for its international programmes in engineering, economics, computer science and natural sciences, which it would like to further expand in order to increasingly become an internationally recognised research location.
On behalf of the Siberian Urban Lab, sa_partners developed a vision for sustainable campus development in favour of an attractive research environment. The urban master plan focused not least on strengthening spatial, economic and social links with the city and establishing an international branding strategy.
