The Sargans urban development concept and masterplan is based on an integral approach and represents the basis for a high-quality development of the municipality of Sargans. In the sense of a strategic steering instrument, it also serves the appearance and positioning of the municipality of Sargans in the regional and cantonal context. The master plan is based on an in-depth analysis of spatial, social and economic aspects as well as the overriding functional and landscape integration. It defines ten spatial priorities. Guiding principles and exemplary proposals illustrate the specific development ideas for each priority. Finally, the action program forms the basis for implementation.
