The hills and river are characteristic of Zangilan and serve as the inspiration for the building’s shape and architecture. Megalithic structures, archaeological treasures but also rocks or man-made cairns serve as inspiration for the buildings along the river space.
During flood periods, the river bed expands, leaving flotsam and boulders on the riverbank. The rocks are part of the landscape along the river. The park buildings appear as rock formations on the river bank. The solid volumes with few openings protect against overheating and save cooling energy. Green roof and solar panels emphasise the ecological architecture.
