Hot summers, drought and heavy precipitation are increasingly challenging cities and municipalities. Achieving quick-wins and integrating climate-friendly solutions into the daily work of the canton, region and municipalities are particularly promising on the way to a good urban climate. On behalf of the Canton of Aargau - Department of Construction, Transport and Environment, under the leadership of the Landscape and Waters Department - sa_partners shows the synergy potential between spatially effective activities and the promotion of an ecological infrastructure, identifies important interfaces and makes recommendations for the canton, region and municipalities to enrich their current projects and strategies with urban climate aspects.
