We provide integrated regional planning in the Baden region, part of the Metropolitan Region Zürich. The area is a major international business and research hub, home to ABB, Alstom and the Paul Scherrer Institute, offering around 120,000 jobs for 180,000 residents within a metropolitan catchment of 1.5 million people. Shaped by the Limmat river corridor and the Lägern hills, the region combines strong economic dynamics with a distinctive natural landscape.
Our work encompasses the preparation of regional development frameworks and spatial concepts, as well as the design of specific planning instruments, including high-rise development guidelines, landscape park strategies, and employment zone management tools. In parallel, we provide strategic and technical support for large-scale infrastructure initiatives, such as national transport programs and the Limmattalbahn. A central element of our approach is the targeted strengthening of regional and local actors through structured, participatory, and collaborative processes.
