As a result of the relocation of industrial uses from the station area to the periphery, open spaces close to the centre with high development potential were created. sa_partners was commissioned for a study to identify urban development solutions for the redevelopment of the station area. The urban design is characterised by a carefully designed neighbourhood layout, a diverse mix of uses, a diversified housing offer, strategically placed public ground floor uses and designed public spaces.
