The masterplan for the spatial development of Wülflingen train station is the basis for a coordinated overall development of the train station district. In an holistic approach, it creates the framework for a coordinated development and takes into account settlement, landscape and traffic issues, while at the same time leaving room for future requirements. By exploiting endogenous development potential in a well connected area by public transport, it enhances the location's advantages. At the same time, it creates new qualities through appropriate building and social density and a vitalizing mix of uses.
The Wülflingen master plan serves as an orientation framework for subsequent planning processes and reflects the basic urban planning attitude. As a binding guideline for authorities, the master lan is intended to guide future developments.
